Rebecca brings 12 years of hands-on experience developing innovative technologies and leading teams across quality and business operations, including finance, accounting, supply chain, inventory, and early-stage infrastructure such as facilities, IT, and EH&S.
Drawing from her work at iota Biosciences, Medtronic, SetPoint Medical, and Advanced Bionics, she combines technical expertise, including ISO 13485 Certified Lead Auditor training, with a passion for helping startups navigate the path from concept to clinical reality.
She brings creativity, adaptability, and grit to every challenge, helping teams move from uncertainty to success.
Rebecca holds a BS in Engineering and Applied Science fromCaltech, with a focus in Computation and Neural Systems. She is purusing her MBA from University of Lowell’s Manning School of Business, which she expects to complete in 2026.

Sandy is a seasoned medical device and supply chain leader with over 20 years of experience in quality, supplier management, and operations at Dexcom, SetPoint Medical, Nevro, and iota Biosciences.
A certified ISO 13485 Lead Assessor and GCP Auditor, he’s led global quality initiatives and built scalable systems across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Sandy combines deep expertise with a practical, team-first approach, helping organizations implement solutions that are fit-for-purpose, strengthen compliance, and streamline operations without adding unnecessary complexity.
Known for his collaborative, hands-on style, Sandy is the kind of partner that teams trust to make complex challenges manageable.
Sandy holds an MBA from Purdue and a BS in Biology from Calstate Chico.
Michel Maharbiz, strategic advisor

Michel Maharbiz is a serial entrepreneur and former U.C. Berkeley EECS Professor known for pioneering advances in bioelectronic medicine and micro- and nanoscale technology for the life sciences.
He co-founded and leads iota Biosciences, now a fully-owned subsidiary of Astellas Pharma; he co-founded Cortera Neurotechnologies and Microreactor, Inc. He led foundational work in ultra-miniaturized wireless interfaces, including neural dust technologies, for which he received the 2017 McKnight Technology Award, among others.
His research and industry leadership have helped translate cutting-edge innovations into impactful applications.
